Perseverance Majola’s journey with Amantombazana began at a time when her future felt uncertain. Though she carried big dreams, they often seemed out of reach. With encouragement from Granny Mamntungwa and the support of Amantombazana, Perseverance found the courage to take her first step toward unlocking her potential.

Beginnings
Before I began my academic journey with Amantombazana, life felt uncertain. I had big dreams, but they felt like they belonged to someone else. I saw myself as someone with potential, but I didn’t know how to unlock it.
I longed for a chance to grow, to learn, and to prove that I could become more than what my circumstances predicted. Amantombazana became a light in the dark — a place that believed in me before I fully believed in myself. With encouragement from my grandmother, Mamntungwa, I found the courage to take the first step.
The Academic Journey
My favorite class was Nas, because it gave us a clear picture of our culture and who we are. I loved being challenged, learning how to express myself clearly, and seeing the world through different perspectives.
Along the way, mentors guided me, friends reminded me of my worth, and programs like Tifaz gave me confidence. They taught me that leadership begins from within.
Through Amantombazana, I gained far more than academic knowledge. I learned resilience, time management, self-advocacy, and the power of sisterhood. I discovered that kindness, consistency, and courage can shape a person’s path.

Growth and Vision
Today, I see myself as strong, capable, and still growing. I am proud of being recognized as the best makeup artist at Tifaz, and I am pursuing career dreams that once felt too big. Right now, I am waiting for my final results, but I know that success is not just about achievement — it is about living in alignment with your purpose.
Today, Perseverance stands as a young woman who has grown in confidence, resilience, and purpose. Her journey reflects the heart of Amantombazana’s mission: to equip girls with the tools and belief to transform their lives.
